24" H. L. Hunley, Limited Edition

This 24" H. L. Hunley Limited Edition model ship is of museum quality. Master craftsmen spent over 100 hours to carve the pieces by hand. This model is built of rosewood and has no plastic parts. It was meticulously painted to match the orginal Civil War era vessel. Also included is a numbered certificate of authenticity as only 100 will ever be made. The model rests perfectly on a large, wood base (included). To build this ship extensive research was done using various sources such as museums, drawings, copies of original plans and photos of the actual ship.
