28" USCG Eagle

This handcrafted 28" US Coast Guard Eagle Barque model has a planked hull built with rare and high quality wood such as cherry, birch, maple and rosewood. Each model boat is built from scratch by master artisans and is meticulously painted to match the original. This model ship has masterfully stitched, thick canvas sails and an accurate eagle figurehead similar to the actual US Coast Guard Eagle Barque. To create an accurate model the designer did extensive research using various sources such as the original plans, drawings, paintings and pictures. Comes fully assembled and includes a wooden display base. The marble base shown in the photographs can be added for an additional $29.99. The USCG Eagle is currently the only active sailing ship commissioned by the United States.
