| | Barnegat Light, located at the north end of Long Beach Island in New Jersey, was commissioned on January 1, 1859. It was decommissioned by the Coast Guard in 1944 and given to the state of New Jersey. The lighthouse and surrounding area were made into a State Park in 1957. The light was reactivated on January 1, 2009 thanks to a local civic organization and illuminates from dusk to dawn each day. It is open to the public and is a popular tourist destination. This remarkable Custom Crafted model of the Barnegat Lighthouse was created by The Lighthouse Man. They strive to stay as close to the original lighthouse as possible with their designs and pride of workmanship is evident. What a great focal point for your nautical garden! The lighthouse was meticulously handcrafted from synthetic stucco and masonry over a solid foam core, making it virtually impervious to the elements. Each piece is hand painted using industrial marine paint for a durable, long lasting finish. Custom Crafted models include real decorative windows complete with beautiful curtains and a highly detailed six panel door. The Barnegat Custom Lighthouse is illuminated by a soft, continuous light. Visit our accessories section if you are interested in upgrading to a blinking, revolving or solar powered beacon. We also offer timers and remotes. This model is available in the following heights: 3’, 4’, 5’, 8’ and 12’. Prices for the 3’, 4’ and 5’ include free shipping.
