Deluxe Custom Crafted Cape Neddick "Nubble" Lighthouse

The Cape Neddick Light is located on a small rocky island called the “Nubble” which sits just off the eastern point of Cape Neddick in York, Maine. Cape Neddick is the southernmost lighthouse on the Maine coastline and is situated about two miles north of the entrance of the York River and the York Harbor. The cast-iron tower was first illuminated on July 1, 1879. The light was automated in 1987 and is still in operation today. In 1998 the U.S. Coast Guard turned over ownership of the lighthouse to the town of York. Long a major tourist destination in the area, it is easily viewed across a narrow canal from Sohier Park in York. While restoration work has been begun on the property, more is still needed.
